Catholic Charities of Buffalo is getting closer to its goal for its 2018 Appeal. Catholic Charities officials reported Wednesday that a recent surge of more than $600,000 in donations since the end of April has helped the 2018 Appeal reach $9.5 million, which is at 86% of this year's goal of $11 million. Funds raised during the Appeal with help support programs and services provided by Catholic Charities at 61 locations throughout Western New York.
