Traffic stop in Jamestown leds to drug related charges against two people

Two people are facing drug related charges after members of the Jamestown Police Department and State Police assigned to the Targeted Enforcement Patrol made a traffic stop in the area of Falconer Street and Curtis Street Thursday afternoon. Police say they stopped the vehicle, driven by Eric Reese Sr. for having an inoperative stop lamp. While interviewing the driver, an odor of marijuana was detected. A search by a State Police K9 uncovered marijuana and a digital scale with suspected cocaine residue. Further investigation determined that Reese was allegedly in possession of cocaine and a passenger, Nicole Farrar, had a baggie of marijuana. Police arrested Reese while Farrar was given an appearance ticket. A records check revealed a valid order of protection for Reese to stay away from a child passenger.
