A total of 16 people are facing drug charges after narcotics investigators from multiple police agencies raided two apartments Wednesday evening in the City of Dunkirk. The Dunkirk Police Department, Jamestown Police Department, and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office executed search warrants at the lower apartment of 31 East Courtney Street and the lower apartment at 45 East Courtney Street shortly after 7:15 PM. Inside the apartment at 45 East Courtney, investigators seized 9.63 grams of crack cocaine, 4.73 grams of fentanyl, a quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine, scales and packaging material for the distribution of narcotics, a .38 caliber revolver, and $1,417 in cash. 14 people were charged with 3rd- and 4th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and criminally using drug paraphernalia from that search. They include 64-year-old Martin Wisniewski of Dunkirk, 61-year-old Darryl Watkins of Dunkirk, 52-year-old Alisha Scinta of Dunkirk, 33-year-old David Corsi of Dunkirk, 31-year-old Octavia Brown of Dunkirk, 31-year-old Heather Payne of Dunkirk, 47-year-old Alex Santiago of Dunkirk, 35-year-old Sonia Mosely of Dunkirk, 25-year-old Jahnie Hamilton of the Bronx, 42-year-old Wade Pfleuger of Forestville, 21-year-old Delani Williams of Buffalo, 40-year-old Carrie Haas of Fredonia, 22-year-old Kristian Wright of Sinclairville and 29-year-old Andre Thomas of Buffalo.
Meanwhile, investigators at the 31 East Courtney address seized 14.54 grams and 54 bindles of fentanyl, 23.04 grams of crack cocaine, 48 dosage units of suboxone, an electronic stun gun, scales and packaging for the distribution of narcotics, a .25 caliber handgun, and $3,546 in cash. 29-year-old Preston Lawrence of Rochester and 21-year-old Haley Greenawalt of Jamestown were charged with four counts of 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, as well as one count each of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 2nd- and 4th-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and 2nd-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
All 16 suspects were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department, where they will be arraigned in Dunkirk City Court on their charges.
