Borrello Pushing to Eliminate State Taxes on Overtime, Add Tax Deduction for Tips

Republican lawmakers in Albany are pushing to include in the final state budget a couple of bills that would eliminate state taxes on overtime pay and establish a tax deduction for tipped wages. State Senator George Borrello is among the legislators sponsoring the measures that are similar to what is being floated at the federal level.
