Molitor Concerned About DEC Expansion to Enforce New Wetland Regulations

The $254.3 billion budget that New York State lawmakers passed late last week contains a request for the State DEC to hire an additional 28 people to help enforce its new wetland regulations. That's according to State Assemblyman Andrew Molitor, who tells WDOE News that he has a lot of concerns about that request. Molitor says that agency has been growing "exponentially" in power, adding that the new regulations won't affect just Chautauqua County...
