The Village of Fredonia DPW has announced that it will begin flushing water mains and fire hydrants in and around the village on Sunday, May 18th at 10:00 PM. Flushing will be done between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM in order to minimize problems with water during the day. The flushing will take approximately two weeks, and residents may experience turbid water and reduced water pressure during the process. The village recommends that residents check the quality of their water before doing laundry.
