
A Jamestown man was taken into custody late Saturday morning after he allegedly cut and removed an air conditioner condenser from a residence on the city's south side. Jamestown Police responded to a burglary complaint in the area of Maple Street and Arnold Street at about 11:00 AM and located 36-year-old Joshua Berg, who was allegedly pushing the unit down Arnold Street. After further investigation, Berg was arrested without incident and charged with 3rd-degree criminal mischief and 4th-degree grand larceny. He is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
