No injuries were reported after a vehicle caught fire in the Village of Silver Creek Friday evening. In a Facebook post, the Silver Creek Fire Department stated that it was called to the intersection of Central Avenue and Lincoln Avenue at about 6:15 PM, with a report of heavy fire to an SUV. The fire caused Central Avenue to briefly shut down between Parkway Street and Howard Street. The vehicle was a total loss.
