Some of the top high school students in Chautauqua County over the past school year were honored during this week's County Legislature meeting in Mayville. County Executive P.J. Wendel presented certificates and "challenge coins" to valedictorians and salutatorians representing five school districts in the county. The students on hand were Charlotte Couchman from Cassadaga Valley, Lincoln Smith and Logan Ludwig from Chautauqua Lake, Elayna Pitts and Alexandra Waid from Frewsburg, Bella Johnson from Jamestown, and Addison Luce and Mason Maring from Westfield.
