An investigation into a physical domestic dispute between a male and a female in the Town of Cold Spring this week led to the arrest of the former on multiple felony counts. Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies responded to an address on Old Route 17 shortly before 10:45 PM Tuesday and found that 33-year-old Kevin Stafford, Jr. left the scene prior to deputies' arrival. Stafford was quickly located and taken into custody. He was charged with 2nd-degree attempted assault, aggravated family offense and 1st-degree criminal contempt, then was released with an appearance ticket for Cold Spring Town Court.
