A man from Massachusetts is facing charges stemming from an investigation a two-vehicle, head-on crash in southern Erie County on Thursday. According to Evans Town Police, one of the drivers was a 67-year-old woman who was taken to ECMC with serious injuries following the incident on Southwestern Boulevard near Gowans Road just after 6:00 PM. Her name has not been released. Officers say the other driver -- 24-year-old Grady Marshall of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts -- was also taken to ECMC, but for apparent minor injuries. Marshall has been charged with DWI, 2nd-degree vehicular assault, and other vehicle and traffic violations, with additional charges pending. The crash is being investigated by the Town of Evans Accident Investigation Unit. Anyone who witnessed the collision is being asked to call Evans Town Police at (716) 549-3600.
