Strong Wind Gusts Likely from 'Abnormally Strong' Low Pressure System

An "abnormally strong" area of low pressure will arrive from the south and cross the Great Lakes Wednesday night into Thursday, producing gusty winds across Western New York. The National Weather Service in Buffalo says peak wind gusts may reach 45-55 MPH across the area. According to meteorologist Steve Welch, the system will create downsloping winds along the Lake Erie shoreline in Chautauqua County...
