A complaint of a lost child late Thursday morning led to the arrest of a Jamestown man. Jamestown Police responded to a location on the city's east side shortly before 11:30 AM and saw the child standing in front a residence. The mother told officers that she left her son in the care of her boyfriend, 40-year-old Timothy Gonzalez, who had an outstanding warrant. According to police, the child was left alone by Gonzalez for more than 20 minutes, adding that a pizza was left in the oven with the oven on. Gonzalez was located a short time later and taken into custody on his warrant. He was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child and 2nd-degree criminal contempt for allegedly violating a full stay-away order of protection.
