Two people are facing charges following separate incidents at the Falconer Hotel -- formerly known as the Quality Inn -- on East Main Street Extension in the Town of Ellicott. Both suspects will answer their charges in Ellicott Town Court.
In one incident, Ellicott Town Police were called to the scene shortly after 12:15 PM last Thursday for a report of an unwanted subject. Officers say 34-year-old Johnathan Sipes allegedly threatened staff on site. When he was told he was under arrest, Sipes allegedly physically resisted officers. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment on charges of 2nd-degree harassment and resisting arrest.
On Monday, Ellicott Town Police responded to a fight at the hotel shortly after 12:45 PM. Officers say 18-year-old Caleb Dellahoy of Falconer was allegedly punching a victim outside of the hotel entrance. He was charged with 2nd-degree harassment, 2nd-degree obstruction and disorderly conduct and was issued an appearance ticket.
