A man from Erie, Pennsylvania who went fishing on Lake Erie has been missing for more than week, and friends are asking for people in New York and Pennsylvania to watch the water lines along the lake in an effort to find him. Corey Zearfoss was last seen on Wednesday, July 8th shortly before 9:00 PM, approximately 1.5 miles off Seagull Point, north of the Presque Isle Peninsula. According to multiple media reports, the U.S. Coast Guard conducted a search for Zearfoss, but suspended efforts on Friday, July 10th after his boat was found along the shoreline at Long Point, Ontario. A Facebook group called "Search Efforts for Corey Zearfoss" has been created following his disappearance. Anyone who sees anything is asked to call 911 or (814) 746-1506.
