People who have dedicated a tree for the project in the City of Dunkirk known as "A Tree for Thee" will now be able to more easily locate those trees, thanks to some new signs that have been posted. According to project founder Mary Louise McGraw, three new signs have been placed -- two in Point Gratiot Park on each side of Park Drive, and one in Wright Park -- that contain all the information about each tree that has been purchased. McGraw says the front part of the signs are maps showing all the trees planted, while the back contains the number of each tree, who purchased the tree, and who the tree is dedicated to. The new signs come ahead of many family and class reunions. "A Tree for Thee" was launched in 2024.
