Licensed cannabis microbusinesses and dispensaries are now eligible to fully participate in cannabis showcase events, thanks to legislation signed by Governor Kathy Hochul on Thursday. The new law opens the door for legal operators to sell at approved pop-ups, farmers markets and public events. Hochul says the new law will put small entrepreneurs "on a level playing field, expanding consumer access to safer, regulated products and strengthening one of New York’s fastest growing industries."
