A Cassadaga man was taken into custody following a physical altercation in the Town of Charlotte early Wednesday. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to an undisclosed address at about 12:45 AM and arrested 29-year-old James Corbin after an investigation into the incident. Corbin was charged with 2nd-degree attempted assault, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, 4th-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
