In response to new action from the Trump Administration not to renew federal contracts with nearly 100 legal services providers that represent unaccompanied minors through their immigration process, Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Wednesday that she is authorizing an immediate infusion of $7.25 million to cover the legal services for roughly 1,400 unaccompanied minors in the state.
