UWCHQ Prepares for Campaign, Announces Co-Chairs

The United Way of Chautauqua County is gearing up for its 2026 fundraising campaign. It's scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, September 16th. The organization provided a taste of this year's campaign during its Annual Meeting at Moon Brook Country Club. That video can be seen below. Meanwhile, the co-chairs of the campaign (pictured above) were also revealed during the meeting. One of them is David Maternowski, a resident of the Town of Dunkirk. Director of Growth and Engagement Leslie Wille says she recently met with him...

Maternowski is currently Board President of Southern Tier Environments for Living (STEL) and has held leadership positions with numerous community organizations, including the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency, the SUNY Fredonia College Council, and the City of Dunkirk Zoning Board. The other campaign co-chair is Danielle Patti of Jamestown, who brings more than 25 years of experience in education, nonprofit service, and community leadership to that role.

The United Way says additional details about campaign events, workplace giving opportunities, and ways to get involved to be announced in the coming weeks.
