13-Year-Old Babe Ruth World Series Begins Saturday in Jamestown

The officials and teams participating in the upcoming 13-Year-Old Babe Ruth World Series have arrived in Jamestown. The baseball tournament gets underway Saturday and runs through the following Saturday, August 22nd. Activities really pick up Friday evening with a public meet-and-greet involving the teams and coaches at the Northwest Arena, beginning with team introductions at 6:00 PM. Ecklund says there will also be some fun activities on tap...

Kim Ecklund: other activities

Games begin with four each day during pool play on Saturday through Wednesday. After that, the championship round begins Thursday with single-elimination games through the final day of the tournament. Admission to all of the tournament's games is free.
