Robert Dando, Jr. Receives George Ritzer Labor Award

A north county man who has been very active in local unions and volunteer service is this year's recipient of the George Ritzer Labor Award. The presentation of the award to Robert Dando, Jr. of the Town of Pomfret was one of the highlights of the City of Jamestown's 45th annual Labor Day Festival on Sunday. Dando was also recognized by Chautauqua County Executive P.J. Wendel and with proclamations from State Senator George Borrello and Assemblyman Andrew Molitor. However, both lawmakers were unable to attend the event.
