Remembrance ceremonies have been taking place nationwide on the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. In Dunkirk, the city held its annual ceremony at the Fire Department's headquarters on Eagle Street. Patrick Ossman, President of Dunkirk Professional Firefighters Local 616, said the effects of the attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanskville, Pennsylvania are still felt today.
