As the investigation continues into a hit-and-run that occurred earlier this week on I-90 in the Town of Sheridan, an arrest has been made in connection with that incident. According to State Police in Jamestown, 34-year-old Devante Jones of Euclid, Ohio was arrested that afternoon in the Town of Ripley on a Class D felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. Chautauqua County Jail records show that Jones is being held on $100,000 bail. The identity of the hit-and-run victim has still not been released at this time.
