

A new poll from Marist University has incumbent Governor Kathy Hochul up by 11 points over her challenger. According to the results of the poll, conducted October 1-4, Hochul leads Republican Bruce Blakeman 53-42%. It also found that Blakeman leads 49-42% among Independents, Hochul has 69% support in New York City, and Blakeman leads with 51% backing of upstate voters. The survey of 1,361 registered New York voters was conducted by phone, text, and online, and it has a +/-3.6% margin of error.
