The LoGuidice Educational Center in Fredonia raised $430 during this year's Pink Out Day, an annual fundraiser organized by the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) to promote breast cancer awareness and support the Lisa Ready Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year's Pink Out Day occurred on October 9th. The scholarship honors the memory of Ready, a beloved employee of Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2013. It is awarded annually to a graduating senior who demonstrates a positive work ethic, good character, commitment, and an outgoing personality. Students and staff at the WNY P-TECH Academy in Dunkirk also participated by wearing pink in support of breast cancer awareness.
