Jamie L. Krajewski, of Gowanda-Zoar Road, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, January 18, 2014. She was 26.
She was born in Springville, N.Y., on December 3, 1987, the daughter of Robert and Lorraine (Lucas) Krajewski.
A member of Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church in Langford, Jamie graduated form Gowanda Central School, Class of 2006. While in school, she was involved with sports and cheerleading, she enjoyed bowling and playing softball, she coached softball for the L.K. Painter Recreation Program in Collins and she coached for the Gowanda and Collins Center teams. Jamie also enjoyed bowling and was on the Friday Night League at K&L Lanes in Gowanda. After graduation, Jamie received her Medical Administration Assistant Degree. She attended Buffalo State and the State University of New York at Fredonia. At the time of her death, Jamie worked for Erickson and Erickson Family Medical Practice in Orchard Park.
Survivors besides her parents include her brother Robert J. Krajewski Jr., along with her paternal grandmother Mary (Rod Utley) Krajewski of Gowanda, her paternal uncle David (Tracey) Krajewski and Aunt Cheryl. On Jamie's mother's side, she is survived by aunts Jeanne (Chuck) Bach of Fla. and Kate Bushnell of Gowanda and Uncle James (Dina) Lucas of Orchard Park, along with many cousins.
Jamie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Bernard Krajewski, her maternal grandparents James and Janet Lucas, and uncles Thomas Lucas and William Bushnell.
Friends may call at the Schindler Funeral Home, 44 Center St., Gowanda, N.Y., (716) 532-4200, from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock on Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 90 E. Main St., Gowanda (assemble at the church).
Because of Jamie's love for animals, Memorials may be made to a WNY Animal Shelter of one's choice.
