Saturday Sports Update

Top left: Is there a light at the end of this dark tunnel for the Buffalo Bills?  Ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs, head coach Sean McDermott on Friday talked about the issues the team has had during its three-game losing streak, including the defense's inability to create turnovers and injuries at the wide receiver position.  One of those receivers, Kelvin Benjamin, has been ruled out of Sunday's game with a knee injury.  Photo from buffalobills.com

Bottom right: A Buffalo Sabres win??  Yes, that actually happened!  Goals from Jacob Josefson (left), Kyle Okposo (right), and Jack Eichel gave the Sabres a 3-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers at the KeyBank Center.  The win was the team's first since November 7th and ended a seven-game skid.  Photo from NHL.com
