Traffic on Brigham Road in Dunkirk was rerouted for more than five hours Friday afternoon after a tractor-trailer got stuck under a CSX railroad overpass. Dunkirk Police tell WDOE News that a driver from Canada was transporting 40,000 pounds of steel powder from Dunkirk Specialty Steel when the Energy-Express truck he was driving got stuck near 2nd Street at about 12:15 PM. The trailer was damaged, but police say no powder spilled onto the roadway. Brigham Road was closed between 2nd Street and 4th Street until about 5:30 PM. The driver was not charged.
