Sherman man posts bail after being indicted in hunter related shooting

A hunter from Sherman who fatally shot a neighbor he said he mistook for a deer has been charged with 2nd degree manslaughter. Chautauqua County District Attorney Patrick Swanson says 32-year-old Thomas Jadlowski also was charged in a grand jury indictment Thursday with hunting after hours in the Town of Sherman. Swanson says Jadlowski was arraigned in County Court, where he pleaded not guilty and he posted $50,000 bail...

Sheriff's deputies say 43-year-old Rosemary Billquist of Armenian Road was killed while walking her dogs behind her home. Regional Department of Environmental Conservation Captain Frank Lauracello says the accident occured just before 5:30 PM, but after sunset, when it's illegal to hunt deer.
