Voters in the Silver Creek Central School Districts approved a $17.6 million capital project on Tuesday. School officials say the project, that is not expected to have an impact on the district's tax levy, was approved 287-85. The project will include a 6-classroom addition at the elementary school, an expanded security and new communications system, transportation facility addition, and a complete overhaul of the Nurse’s Office and Special Education Office, among other items. Pending approval of the State Department of Education, construction is expected to begin in summer of 2019.
