Area State Senator George Borrello says he will continue to oppose legislation legalizing marijuana in New York State. Governor Andrew Cuomo included legalization in his 2021 budget proposal released last month. He projects it could generate $20 million in revenue during the first year, reaching $188 million by fiscal year 2025.
