Daniel W. Anderson, Jr., 48, of Ripley died on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Westfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1966 in Dover, NJ to Daniel W. Anderson, Sr. of Ripley and the late Delberta (Midge) L. Byson Anderson.
Daniel recently graduated from Jamestown Community College in 2014, where he earned an associates degree in nursing.
Daniel was currently employed at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY as a Registered Nurse. He was also an EMT in Ripley and a member of the Ripley Hose Co. No. 1, Ripley Rod and Gun Club, active in a bowling league at North East Bowling Lanes, and he was a motorcycle enthusiast.
In addition to his father, Daniel W. Anderson, Sr., Daniel is survived by his sister, Debie Coburn (Curtis Jr.) of Ripley; children, Daniel W. Anderson III of Erie, PA, David A. Anderson of Athens, NY, Victoria M. Anderson of Athens, NY, and Patricia J. Anderson of Athens, NY; nephew, Andrew Learn of Corry, PA; nieces, Allison Learn of Ulster, PA, Rebecca Coburn (Jacob Horstman) of Ripley, and Jacquelyn Coburn of Ripley; and many close friends and family.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Friday, October 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Fireman's Memorial Service on Saturday, October 3 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
