Myra Warrior, age 82, of Indian Hill Road, Perrysburg passed away Friday morning, October 2, 2015, surrounded by family at her home. Born January 21, 1933 in Gowanda, a member of the Turtle Clan and daughter to Allen and Cassie (Cook) Mohawk.
Myra worked in the kitchen for the Office of the Aging with the Seneca Nation of Indians.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol (Harlan) Henhawk of Gowanda; two sons, Irving and Morris Warrior, both of Gowanda; two sisters, Flossie Stafford of Gowanda and Wende Harjo, also of Gowanda; and two brothers, William Mohawk of Gowanda and Larry (Cindy) Mohawk of North Carolina. Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, Myra was preceded in death by a daughter, Agnes Warrior and her son (Myra's grandson), Anthony Warrior; a son, Norris Warrior; three sisters, Mabel Larkin, Hazel Stafford and Lettie Mohawk; and four brothers, Raphael Mohawk, Lloyd Mohawk, Leland Mohawk and Randolph Mohawk.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday, October 3 and all day Sunday, October 4 at the family residence at 10993 Indian Hill Road, where Funeral Services will be held Monday morning, October 5 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
