Steven G. Loomis, 71, of Westfield died at home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born on August 5, 1946 in Erie, PA, son of the late Roland N. and Alice L. (Loveless) Loomis.
A retired employee of Welch Foods in Westfield, Steve enjoyed the outdoors and to swim, go camping, fishing and hunting.
He was a member of the Westfield Fish and Game Club.
Surviving is his beloved wife of over 47 years, Judith (Wise) Loomis, whom he married September 12, 1970; sons, Jesse A. Loomis of Westfield and Nathan G. (Laura) Loomis of Brighton; and a granddaughter, Meredith; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
No prior visitation will be observed, and private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
