Carmen M. Castro, 84, of Dunkirk passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at the Chautauqua Nursing & Rehab Center.
Carmen moved to Dunkirk from Puerto Rico in 2010 to be closer to her children.
She was the mother of Carmen M. Galindez, Angelina Galindez, Wigberto Galindez and Angel M. Galindez. She was preceded in death by her loving grandson, Josue A. Class and was loved by her brothers, sisters, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, January 5 from 3:00-6:00 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk. Private inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
